the £1 thrift skirt got a little makeover with a linen add-on hem + a vintage lace trim...now i just need some tanned legs to wear it!
i couldn't resist these pretty doilies.

and to round off my old-english town visit i bought two pairs of floral curtains which are wonderfully soft. a little faded along the edges but i'm thinking they may have a new life as cushion covers...patchwork pieces...even another summer skirt? you know i love my
curtain-
tablecloth skirts!

yes. a skirt is one the menu there. love it.
ReplyDeleteNice customising Kelly:)
ReplyDeleteI think the curtains would indeed look good as a skirt especially on your lovely little figure:) What about an apron as well?
Loving your thrifty buys, definitely a skirt in that gorgeous floral, how about a nice big shopper too?
ReplyDeleteHope you're being good to yourself.
Take care,
